SUNDAY HYMN

HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING

1.  Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King:
peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!"
Joyful, all ye nations, rise, join the triumph of the skies;
with th'angelic hosts proclaim, "Christ is born in Bethlehem!"

Refrain:
Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King"

2.  Christ, by highest heaven adored, Christ, the everlasting Lord,
late in time behold him come, offspring of the Virgin's womb:
veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail th'incarnate Deity,
pleased with us in flesh to dwell, Jesus, our Immanuel.

Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King"

3.  Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all he brings, risen with healing in his wings.
Mild he lays his glory by, born that we no more may die,
born to raise us from the earth, born to give us second birth.

Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King"
FAITHFUL GIVING
We want to say thank you for your giving and partnership.  YOUR GIVING MATTERS! Your faithful giving allows us to increasingly do the work of ministry for our members AND to everyone the Lord sends to us and sends us to.
2 Corinthians 9: 6-7 ESV
6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Malachi 3:10 ESV
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Advent is a Christian season of preparation for Christmas, lasting about four weeks before the holiday. The word "advent" means "coming" or "arrival," referring to the anticipation of Jesus's birth and his anticipated second coming.
This week begins with:
Week 2 | On Them Has Light Shone.
Imagine a redemptive love so powerful that it finds you in your lowest moments and launches you on a journey into renewed hope and purpose! Prepare to be inspired and rejuvenated by an ancient story of unlikely romance, whose timeless themes resonate through the pages of Scripture to shine a light in the dark places of loss and disappointment in your life.

Presented through Right Now Media and led by Jerome Gay, founding and lead pastor of Vision Church, this study offers fresh, yet scripturally grounded perspectives on the book of Ruth—and its implications for our relationships with God and each other in the present day.
The Man That God Uses is studying the book of Habakkuk.
